The Settings section in the WebConsole is the central place where administrators can configure and manage the application’s behavior. It provides access to key configuration options such as authentication methods, security policies, user access settings, and system preferences. By bringing all essential controls together in one place, it helps ensure consistency, simplifies administration, and allows organizations to tailor the platform according to their specific requirements.

The Visual Guard Webconsole settings are divided in three sections:

🔐 Global MFA Policy
This setting allows administrators to define how Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is applied across the entire application. Instead of configuring MFA individually for each user or module, a global policy ensures a consistent security approach. You can enforce MFA for all users, specific roles, or based on certain conditions (like external access). This helps strengthen overall security while keeping the configuration simple and centralized.

🖥️ User Interface
The User Interface settings let you control how the WebConsole looks and behaves for end users. This can include layout preferences, display options, language settings, or customization elements that improve usability. It helps tailor the experience to better match your organization’s needs, making the platform more intuitive and user-friendly.

🔑 License Key
The License Key is a unique code used to activate and validate your Visual Guard WebConsole. It defines the scope of your license, including the number of users, enabled features, and the validity period. By entering a valid license key, you unlock the full functionality of the application and ensure it operates within the licensed limits. This section also allows administrators to update or renew the license when required, helping avoid any service interruptions.
