Users

Managing users effectively is an essential part of administering Visual Guard WebConsole. The platform provides a clear and structured Users List view, allowing administrators to quickly access key information about each user, including their roles and permissions, it also allows to create new users and manage all the user related functions. This article walks you through where to find the Users List in the WebConsole and highlights the various details you can review to ensure smooth and secure user management.

You can find all the user details by clicking on Users button on the left side navigation bar

You can search and filter the users according to your preference from the drop down.

• All Users: Displays the complete list of all users in the WebConsole.
• User Name: Filters users based on their exact or partial username.
• First Name: Shows users matching the selected first name.
• Last Name: Narrows the list by the user’s last name.
• Email Address: Filters users using their registered email ID.
• Authentication Types: Lets you view users based on their configured authentication method i.e VisualGuard, Windows or Database user
• Locked / Unlocked: Displays users whose accounts are either locked or currently active.
• Approved / Pending: Filters users by their approval status within the system.
• Group: Shows users who belong to a specific group.
• Group and Descendants: Lists users from a selected group along with users from its subgroups.
• Inactive: Displays users who have not logged in or remained inactive for a defined period.
