Windows Authentication By Credential

Users authenticate through their Windows credentials, leveraging the security infrastructure of the Windows operating system. Visual Guard integrates with Windows authentication to validate user identities, providing seamless access to applications based on Windows credentials.

Prompts users to manually enter their Windows credentials for authentication, useful when automatic domain login is not possible.

Step 1: Enable your preferred authentication mode through Repository Information –> Repository Settings–> restart Visual Guard to login.

Step 2: Choose Windows Authentication By Credential from the drop down list under the authentication –> enter the User Name and Password –> Click OK to Sign in.

Note: This applies to local Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
