User Profile Attributes
Visual Guard allows you to view and edit all the User Profile Attributes defined in the system.
Note: However you will be not be able to edit and delete the inbuilt User Profile Attributes of the system.
You can perform the following actions in the User Profile Attributes section:
- Refresh Profile Attributes: This option allows you to refresh all the Profile Attributes. Clicking on “refresh profile attributes” will refresh and load the latest Profile Attributes.
To access the list of User Profile Attributes defined in the repository follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Repository.
- Click on the “+” besides the Repository Name to view the list of items of the repository.
- From the Settings select the User Profile Attribute Details .

- The list of Profile Attributes will be displayed as shown in the above screen:
- The following details will be displayed:
Field | Description |
Primary Information | |
Property Name | This option displays the name of the Attribute |
Display Name | This option shows the display name of the Attribute |
Datatype Value | This option displays the value of the Data Type |
Attribuite Type | This option displays that the attribute is a default attribute or a custom attribute. |
VGAttribuite Information Type | This option displays some of the Attributes provided in the system |
Default Value | This option displays the default Value of the Attribute |

Max Length | This option displays the maximum length of the Attribute Name |
Attribute Group Name | This option displays the Group Name of the defined Profile Attribute |
Is Read Only | This option displays whether the Attribute is read only or not |
Is Visible | This option displays the visibility of the Attribute |
Is Required | This option displays whether it is a mandatory Attribute or not |
Is Search Allowed | This option displays whether the Attribute is searchable or not |
