Configure SMTP

Configuring SMTP settings in the Visual Guard Desktop application allows administrators to enable email communication for notifications, alerts, password reset emails, workflow updates, and other system-generated messages. Proper SMTP configuration ensures reliable email delivery and helps maintain smooth communication between the application and its users. This section explains how to configure and manage SMTP settings within Visual Guard Desktop.

Step 1: Log in to the Repository, go to Settings select the Configure SMTP.


Step 2: Fill in the details to test and configure SMTP.

  • Clicking on Test Connection, you will get a message if the connection is successful else unsuccessful connection message will be displayed.

Step 3: Click on Save to save your configuration.
